So sad about American Idol results!

I usually don’t get so invested in contestants but boy, I was so sad to see James Durbin go home tonight. He’s such an easy guy to like and I love his story – what he’s overcome in his life – James I wish you the very best – I predict you’ll get a record deal this week or next and your album will come out before the winner of this season! Best of luck to you! You’re amazing!

I am 63 and have watched American IDOL since day one. First the judges are fantastic this year – great
HOWEVER THE TALENT THAT HAS BEEN VOTED OFF TOTALLY AMAZED MNE.
When James voted off, who was the most talented singer of all. heavy metal or not, I COULD HARDLY WAIT TO SEE EACH PERFORMANCE. So discusted with results, for the first time I do not think I will bother watching the finale…

It was sad to see James go home. Mainly because of how much praise he received from Randy Steven. He felt like he was already there, that he was it after Randy told him he was it in the past! And Steven had told him he was so good he would sing on stage with him! That is what makes it so sad, I hope Lauren doesn’t set herself up for a big downfall as James did.
Scotty and Lauren are the best out of the 3, I think Scotty will be the next American Idol.

It looks like the top 2 may be Scotty and Haley. Haley seems to be getting a lot better faster. Many comments have been more for Haley and Lauren to leave.
But I think Sotty and Lauren may end up in the 2. They are both very good country singers! I am a big country fan!
It is hard to say who will win, but I am really rooting for you Scotty!
Paul Brandt also has a very deep voice like you, he has some songs I think you would be comfortable singing.

The judges should take more part in keeping the contestants on track of what they can sing and what is best for them. It seems like the other singers like Lady Gaga etc. are doing it all in helping them improve in many ways!
The judges have nothing to say but how great they are!
Come on, they are judges, when will they start doing their job? That is why so many miss Simon, he was the one that let out the truth…these 3 don’t seem to have that strength.
J.lo cries more than the contestants!
It looks like they already have their chosen contestants…and when they leave they are so very upset also!

I was so disappointing to see James go home last week that I don’t think I will even watch the finale. James will go on to great things with his music career. What was even more upsetting was that Haley stayed in the contest, she screamed through her first song and then argued with the judges, she doesn’t seem to know how to take constructive criticism. Good luck Lauren and Scotty.

We thought James Durbin ad a really good shot at winning the whole thing!! He does have a great story and now he can tell it through the many songs and stages he will perform on as he grows in the style he loves! Enjoy James Durbin, enjoy it all!
