Another Idol Goes Home

American Idol, James Durbin, Stefano Langore
Tonight I was discussing with a friend the status of American Idol and who we thought would go home and who would be in the bottom three. We were right on all counts – and although sad to see Stefano Langore go home – felt it was the right decision.

I loved that James Durbin actually had tears in his eyes, grabbed and hugged Stefano and it seemed they had become such good friends. I love that the contestants are pulling for each other – that there is teasing and joking and cheering going on.
And I have to just add that I’m very excited to see Bruno Mars next week on American Idol. He’s amazing and I always love listening to him. Until next week…

I think America needs to really look at the contestants now. You hear the judges tell everyone you really need to bring it.. I see only 3 that did this past week. I want to know why they give Haley just a hard time…. I thought it sounded great… she has a beautiful high voice, bluesy and hopefully she’ll go far in the business, She showed her diversity in the different songs she can sing… Casey is so very talented, awesome and hope he wins… James did a great job this week and showed he could sing & shout…..Stefano sang alright but I think we’re seeing all he could bring, along with Jacob, he sang a beautiful song but I think it could have been better, great lyrics though. Same with Scotty, he did his norm nothing over the top, and Lauren skating as usual. Honestly, what song has she sang that made you go wow that was so awesome, or that was the best performance tonight, I’ve yet to see a song that blows me away. She hasn’t done one song that was over the top… Yeah, she’s cute and young but that’s all she’s got right now and it’s a competition you need to bring it, she said so herself she’s scared to take it to the next level..Everyone else has to bring it but Lauren seems to skate by again, again…? What’s up with that? She’s not giving us her all like the others and no different than Stefano, Scotty, Jacob

Well they did it again!!! First they let Pia go now James
Sorry American idol you just lost. This show is so not about the one that can really sing. This is a teeny bopper show. I thought I would watch this year hoping that with Steven Tyler the show would change its voting process. But as long as these parents are letting their kids vote over and over again based on looks and not their real talent I won’t be watching this show again
