American Idol… I take it back
I have to say I was disappointed with the last American Idol episode. I was raving about how much the show had improved, and how the producers were not making fun of people as much anymore… and then came the LA auditions.
The last contestant of the day was obviously someone who struggled with a mental illness and they went over the top in showcasing him – rather than being sensitive to someone who needs compassion and help – it seemed quite cruel to me how they presented him. He is someone’s son, brother, and perhaps father. He was obviously too old for the show and the only reason producers put him through was to make fun of him. I just felt bad for him, and wished the producers had treated him with respect by not putting him through to the judges. It just left a sad feeling – rather than excitement for this season of American Idol. Bad form producers – bad form.

You have to admit Chris Medina not only had an amazing voice, but also a sad but heartfelt story about his fiance. I think he shouldn’t have been voted off! He was definately gone to soon.
