Welcom to American White Idol. I cannot believe the minorities who can sang good and wonderfully are gone already. (blacks, asians, hispanics) Only 1 black guy, 1 black girl, 1 hispanic guy is left. Don’t worry this is my last comment because I will not be watching Idol anymore. This is so sad. All my life one side of my race has been superior and the other side had to take the back seat. Randy you need to be ashame of yourself.

I think they try to have a variety, but it does seem a bit skewed this season with a lot of singer/songwriter types and kind of “vanilla” – which is why I really love Lee DeWyze’s raspy voice – it’s a bit different and very cool. But I would love to see a bit more representation of the full U.S. as well — where are the immigrants? where are the older or ugly contestants?
— I think part of the problem is they do judge based on appearance as well – so a fat, ugly person would likely not get votes even if they had the best voice in the world. Kind of sad. I was really sad to see Todrick Hall go because I thought he had potential. Where is our Fantasia this season? I hope the next judge they bring in to replace Simon has some ethnicity and flavor as well. Obviously I know they try, just not sure what’s going on this season with anything as the variety of talent seems to be a lot of the same.
