Wahoo!!!

So I’ve been too busy to blog about the show yet this season, but I’m excited to see what talent comes out of this season’s American Idol. I have come to like the new judge Kara – it’s nice to hear her opinions and that she can hold her own against Simon. I do have to say that I think the audition process this year was not as mean as it has been in the past. But I do wonder still about some of the contestants. Really? Are you really going to go dressed in a bunny suit? And do you really think the judges will take you seriously and let you through — or is the intent just to get seen on TV? I sort of think it must be the latter — just a chance to stand out and get on TV.

I do feel bad for people who are obviously tone-deaf and still their family and friends encourage them and let them go to the audition. Just plain sad. So… now that part is over, I’m hoping the ones who made it to Hollywood can not allow the stress and anxiety get the best of them, and can truly showcase their talents.
