Okay – so I’ve been out of town and haven’t had time to blog much, but I agree completely with the decision for David Hernandez to be gone from American Idol. The only issue I have is that American Idol didn’t disqualify him first. A few years ago when Frenchie was cut from the show for “inappropriate photos” it set a precedent for future contestants – and with David’s past – I would have expected the same treatment for him. However, because they didn’t disqualify him – I think it opens them up to huge lawsuits from former contestants who WERE disqualified. Why did they get cut when David was allowed to continue? It will be interesting to see if any legal actions are taken, or not. Just my musings from today.
