I can’t wait for American Idol to start up again. It’s kind of an interesting thing to think about how a short tv show can change lives — I look at some of the contestants and see how they have embraced the Hollywood lifestyle. They get lost in the crowd. But those who are still maintaining their identity — seem to stand out and do quite well. Some get their 15 minutes of fame, while others with huge talent are most likely going to have long careers.

Anyway, it’s going to be fun to see who comes out and shines this year.
