Okay, last night on American Idol when Melinda Doolittle sang the Whitney Houston song that Randy chose for her to sing — it was so amazing and beautifully sung, it brought me to tears! Wow! Melinda deserves to win American Idol hands down — but even if she doesn’t win, she has such great talent I’m sure she’ll do extremely well.

I like Blake and Jordin both, but they never seem to rise above the good performances to really make an impact on me. They are both very good but Melinda brings the emotion and power in her performances.

I think Blake will go home tonight.
