So Ryan said tonight that Celine Dion is going to be on American Idol — is that for the American Idol Gives Back Charity event, or is she going to be a guest mentor/coach? It wasn’t clear to me — but wow! That’s going to be cool.

I loved the bit they did with Tony Bennett auditioning — The judges were adamant that he was horrible and he didn’t make it through. Just a joke — but it made me wonder — I bet there are a ton of singers who are in the industry that wouldn’t make it through that process. That would be a reality show idea — make established performers go through. I bet no one would want to and it might actually ruin their careers. Hmm. Interesting thought though.
